The Bracers of Might are magical items typically carried by members of Morganem's Council of Six. They will wear them on their wrists (or wrist-equivalents) when anticipating a battle.
Physical Description[]
Bracers of Might are a pair of metal bands designed to be worn around the wrists or forearms of the wearer. They have a color similar to brass and are carved with many magical runes. They glow a faint a orange.
Properties[]
The Bracers of Might contain a simple enchantment that, when activated, will temporarily provide a massive boost to the offensive powers of the wielder. While it does not affect any of their spells or special abilities, any 'regular' attacks will be boosted in power.
While casting the enchantment drains the Bracers and the enchantment on the wearer will fade after a while, the Bracers will also recharge themselves over time by absorbing ambient magic, and once recharged, can be used again.
History[]
The Bracers of Might were created by Morganem for his Council of Six to assist them on the field with his quest to conquer and govern Ithia. Unlike some of his more impressive creations, the Bracers of Might are not unique: at least six pairs exist, one for each of his Warlords.
The Companions encountered this item when facing the Warlords in Khaal Spire, where the Warlords used them against their foes in battle.
It is likely that the Warlords do not always carry these items on their person and only equip them when they believe there is a need to do so. Kaine Shariven, despite being one of the Council of Six, was not carrying his pair when he was encountered on Gaeth.
