Appearance[]

Calrax appears mostly human. He is tall but slim, with a height of approximately 1.85 meters tall and weighing 75 kg. He has spiky blonde hair and eerie, unnaturally blue eyes. His body may glow with a bluish light when he begins to draw on his vampiric powers.

When he was encountered, he was wearing a dark, well-tailored suit and a pair of sunglasses

Personality[]

Calrax was desribed by Fei Serumen as belonging to the Ventrue clan. He was confident and arrogant, and like most of his kin, power-hungry. He seemed to prefer to manipulation and guile as opposed to direct confrontation, unwittingly using the forces of Chaos to try and further his own goals of conquest.

Vampiric Powers[]

Calrax was a powerful antediluvian, and as such possessed many vampiric powers, including immortality and superhuman strength, agility and resilience.

Martial Arts[]

In combat, Calrax fights unarmed, but demonstrates incredible martial arts prowess. He was able to go toe-to-toe with Fei Serumen in single combat and knock him unconscious.

Blood Magic[]

Calrax demonstrated considerable blood magic powers, being able to use his own blood to create projectiles, dematerialize his body into mist and perform other magic-like effects.

Glamor[]

Calrax had powers that allowed him to manipulate the Chaos Lords in some way, making them his unwitting allies, using them and their armies to provide protection and muscle.

Background[]

Prior to the events of Chaos and Clutchfiend[]

One of the original Vampires, Calrax doubtlessly has a long and storied past. It seems that he became the head of a clan of vampires known as the Ventrue. However, the details of his background have long been lost.

Chaos and Clutchfiend[]

Calrax was the final remaining antediluvian after The Companions destroyed the rest of the Ancient Vampire Lords. He had joined, and was likely controlling, the forces of Chaos in The Imperial Plane, for unrevealed but likely sinister reasons. He accompanied the Chaos Lords when they landed on Aldrean.

Once on the planet, Calrax remained sequestered in a private chamber in the Chaos temple stronghold. It was there that Fei Serumen eventually tracked him down, and the two engaged in single combat.

Although he was successful in knocking Fei Serumen unconscious. However, he ended up paralyzed when he attempted to feed on Fei, who had converted his blood into a deadly poison. Fei Serumen then proceeded to diablorize the defeated antedeluvian.

For a time after being consumed, Calrax still attempted to wrest control over Fei Serumen, which included sending him surges of emotion long forgotten to Fei. However, eventually Fei Serumen's will overcame that of Calrax and the antedivluvian was convincingly destroyed.
