Overview[]
Location: Ithia
Type: Planet (life-bearing)
Description[]
Although life-bearing, Dhar is a small, harsh world. Its days and nights are short, and its dwarf star provides relatively poor sunlight even during the day. The planet is rich in iron, leading to its surface being covered in red dust (composed of dry clay and rust). High speed winds commonly whip the planet's surface, adding to the chill.
Dhar's soil is difficult for most plant life to grow in, but there are still hardy species that manage to survive. Drinkable water is in relatively short supply but can usually be found by digging deep enough underground.
Dhar has the unique feature of having some medium-sized rock chunks floating above the surface - this is likely due to some sort of magical energy fused into some of the planets minerals, though this phenomenon has not been exploited in any practical way.
The only sentient indigenous species are the hardy, numerous and warlike Dharuk. Other indigenous fauna include large, vicious wolves, aggressive Razorpigs and the huge, lumbering Gaurag

History[]
Dhar was a key location leading up to and during the events of To the Bitter End - Morganem chose Dhar as his base of operations, largely because it was home to the Dharuk, whom he had conquered for the express purpose of provining the needed muscle to forge his utopian empire.
The companions invaded Dhar at the beginning of To the Bitter End in an attempt to defeat Morganem. After being involuntarily banished from the planet by Morganem's Reality Disrupter, the companions eventually rejoined forces and returned there to finish the job.
