Appearance[]
Gavina is a tall, willowy woman with snow-white wavy hair that reaches all the way down to her knees. Her eyes are amber in colour and rimmed by long, white eyelashes that resemble downy feathers. Though pretty, her features are sharp - a hawkish nose, thin pink lips and high cheekbones - and her skin is so pale that it almost looks like it is carved of ivory.
Personality[]
Gavina is a member of the Council of the Upper Umbra. Of all the Council members, she is the only one that Tamrissa Roshan knew on a personal level, though it would be going too far to call them friends.
Gavina is known for being stubborn and immovable in her opinons, and her manner is usually impassive and cold.

Gavina, as with all members of the Council of the Upper Umbra, is an immortal and will no die of old age. She shows no signs of aging, and displays regenerative powers that allow her to swiftly heal from most normal injuries.

Gavina is a powerful sorceress and wields a variety of magics.

Prior to the events of The Ancient Vampire Lords[]
Gavina was one of the long-standing members of the Council of the Upper Umbra. She and Tamrissa Roshan had dealing with each other in the past, though their radically different personalities meant they were never really meant to be friends.
The Ancient Vampire Lords[]
Gavina was one of the Council members who judged Jihon Bed and Tamrissa Roshan for their crimes and failures after the disasterous first assault on Cerberis. Unlike some of her peers, Jihon was, in her opinion, innocent.
As with the other Council members, she was involved in the corrupt plot to 'expose' Fei Serumen, in the hope of purging him from the Council and soldifying their stranglehold of power over the Upper Umbra. She was killed in the chaotic battle against the companions in the Upper Umbra's colosseum, falling to the combined might of Brigit Bliant and Tamrissa Roshan.
