Appearance[]
Thaimes is olive-skinned man with somewhat asian features. His short hair is copper coloured and spiky.
He wears a simple monk's robe, beneath which he wears a white martial arts outfit.
Personality[]
Thaimes is one of the finest fighters in the Upper Umbra, and leads the Upper Umbra's army. He holds a reputation for being just and wise, and has long been a close friend of Fei Serumen - apparently so much so that he thinks of him almost as a brother.
In truth, however, this is all a ruse. Thaimes is in fact none other than Akkarajul, who has waited for centuries in this benign guise in order to ensnare Fei Serumen and take over his body. Whether Thaimes was always thus or was once a separate individual that was slain and replaced by Akkarajul is unknown.

Background[]
Prior to the events of The Ancient Vampire Lords[]
Thaimes was appointed leader of the Upper Umbra's armies and city guard by the Council of the Upper Umbra. While working in this capacity, he also earned the trust and even friendship of Fei Serumen.
The Ancient Vampire Lords[]
Thaimes was charged by the Council with guarding Jihon and Tamrissa Roshan when they were to be imprisoned. Secretly however he conspired with Fei Serumen and his companions, forming a plan wherein he and his men would help create a distraction to allow Soul Reaver to spirit away the prisoners into the Lower Umbra.
The plan however failed, as the Council had been spying on Fei's activitiies using a number of spiritseers. During the chaos that then followed, Fei appeared to go insane and Thaimes slew him in combat, supposedly to save Tamrissa.
However, it was later revealed that Thaimes was actually none other than Akkarajul, who had merely been awaiting this chance to possess Fei's body. At this point, the illusion that was Thaimes disappeared, and with the utter destruction of Akkarajul by Soul Reaver, it is unlikely he will be seen again.
